  1. FACILITIES ADMINISTRATOR (Open)

Job Description
Responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing building operations and services. Analyzes utility bills and energy output, allocates office space to departments, purchases equipment, and maintains
appearance of building.

Primary Responsibilities
Follow up on insurance coverage for building.
Inspect structure of building and determine if repairs are needed.
Allocate office space.
Supervise renovations and additions.
Oversee grounds keeping.
Transport, dispose of, or relocate office equipment and furniture.
Advise staff on how to reduce utility bills.
Organize meeting and lounge spaces.
Maintain vendor relationships.
Perform facility plant equipment obsolescent planning, budgeting and replacement.
Perform environmental hazard management/planning and remediation.

Experience
Technical competence, with excellent problem solving, analytical, interpersonal, communication and managerial skills.
Prior relevant experience will be an added advantage.

Education Requirements
Possess qualifications in building services related disciplines, including surveying, building services engineering and business management.

Job Description
Financial Accountant
Duties
•Under broad direction assists in the development of the Company’s financial and accounting systems, processes, policies, and procedures.
•Challenges status quo and recommends accounting-related process improvements.
•Performs complex account reconciliations and associated analysis.
•Understands organizational structure and core businesses of the Company.
•Prepares and posts journal vouchers which may include consolidations and eliminations.
•Researches and resolves complex accounting issues.
•Interacts with other departments and business units to resolve financial related issues.
•Coordinates financial report preparation and analysis.
•Meets deadlines and works well under pressure to produce accurate and timely results.

Manage inventory costing and ensure internal control on inventory

Requirements
•Skills typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate/graduate degree in accounting and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in Accounting.
•Accounting Certification preferred
•Experience/knowledge of Navision ERP, SAP.
•Basic supervisory skills/experience preferred

Job purpose
  • To support the achievement of service budgets by managing and guiding the service supervisor to effectively utilise the productive staff and workshop equipment for business productivity.
Duties & responsibilities
  • Convert customer enquiries into bookings.
  • Minimise technician time taken to complete jobs in order to maximize productivity, with no compromise on quality or safety.
  • Adopt an open and honest style to enhance customer buy-in and service and thus increase sales.
  • Invoice customers promptly and accurately in line with our quotation or terms and conditions.
  • Ensure achievement of total service turnover and gross profit against planned budgets.
  • Maintain the awareness of the team and keep the Managing Director informed in terms of how the service center is performing against target.
  • Allocate work fairly and accurately to staff to maximize quality and productivity.
  • Organize staff rotas well in advance, taking sickness and holidays into account (‘staff loading’).
  • Ensure that you have sufficient work to utilize your available technicians and take enough bookings to cover available time and to allow for cancellations.
  • Conduct any relevant training for individuals to encourage development.
  • Check accuracy of what technicians are reporting before any work is carried out for the customer to ensure nothing has been missed or inaccurately reported.
  • Physically check vehicles once the work is completed by technicians to ensure quality is achieved and that the work specified and parts charged have been fitted and completed to a high standard.
  • Ensure technicians are aware of and conform to quality standards from a health and safety point of view that company uniforms are worn at all times together with any necessary Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Maintain centre to auditable standards.
